Thank you for your interest in lawn mower racing…America’s fastest growing
Mowtorsport. We are the Hudson Valley Lawn Mower Racing Association (HVLMRA). We
have been around for nearly five years now and have learned the hard way – by
doing! We’ve produced four nationally sanctioned points events and dozens of
local events, for example:
We have a group of highly mowtivated individuals that can handle every aspect
of putting on a lawn mower racing event. We do not represent any lawn & garden
manufacturers; however, we do represent the Gold Eagle brand line of products -
such as STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer and 104+ Octane Boost.
The HVLMRA is a philanthropic organization and 100% of the profits generated by
racing are given to charity, for example:

Venue Requirements:

A flat area approximately the
size of a football field (smooth grass, clay, or shell surface).

Subject to site inspection &
insurance approval.

A secure and restricted track
area, keeping spectators a safe distance from the racing surface.

A secure and restricted
pit/paddock area (can be included in the area above).

All secured areas to be under
HVLMRA control.

Prominent areas to hang sponsor
banners.

Area to sell HVLMRA-branded
materials.

Workers to monitor all track, pit
& paddock gates.

Hay bales or traffic cones for
track layout.

Water truck or other means to
control dust.

Hosting a lawn mower race can drive attendance at your event, raise awareness
